Welcome to Prayer and Prophecy
Prayer is just talking with God — like a real conversation, not a fancy speech. You can share your thoughts, ask questions, or just listen.
Prophecy is when God shares something back — maybe a word of encouragement, a picture in your mind, or a verse that really hits home. It’s like getting a message from God’s heart, just for you.
At our gatherings, we make space to slow down, listen, and encourage one another. You don’t need to be an expert — just come with an open heart and a little curiosity. God loves to speak… and He loves to speak to you.
Never been before? Here's a quick guide for your first time:
Step One: Arrive and Settle In
When you arrive, someone will say a big friendly hello! They'll add you to the waiting list, and in the meantime you can grab a snack, chill in the waiting area, and get comfy. It’s kind of like a cozy (outdoor) living room — people are hanging out, chatting, and just being themselves.
Step Two: Meet Your Prayer Team
When it’s your turn, you’ll meet with a small team — usually two or three kind people who are here to pray with you and listen to what God might want to say. Think of them like your personal encouragement crew. They’re not here to quiz you — they’re here to bless you. Here are a couple of easy questions you can ask to break the ice:

“What’s your favorite story of someone getting encouraged here?”

“How did you end up on the prayer team?”
They’ll love sharing—and it helps you get to know each other a little before jumping in.
Step Three: Receiving Prayer & Encouragement
Now just take a deep breath and relax. Your team will pray with you and share anything they feel God is saying—maybe a picture, a word, or something that feels really personal in the best way.
Pro Tip: Record a voice memo so you can listen again later. Sometimes those words mean even more the second time around.

The Prayer & Prophecy Team exists to create space for people to encounter Jesus through His voice. We’re a family learning to hear God together—growing in the prophetic, encouragement, and identity in Christ.
Our team meets monthly to pray, minister, and build one another up, and we occasionally host family nights, workshops, and outreach events. Whether you’re new to prophetic ministry or have years of experience, there’s a place for you to grow and serve.
